The British Heart Foundation doesn’t just provide resources for adults. It has an extensive range for kids too. These include resources that help them eat healthily, stay active and understand the importance of heart health from an early age. We were asked to produce a catalogue to promote these invaluable tools.
Materials aimed at kids often take a softly, softly approach. But inspired by the assertive tone of the BHF’s ‘fight for every heartbeat’ proposition, we developed a catalogue around the concept of ‘Teaching heart disease a lesson’. We commissioned John Angerson to shoot a range of young heart patients posing with real attitude as a range of different teachers from science to PE. By telling their stories, we showed that kids can really take the fight to heart disease.
