Stephen Sondheim‘s Sweeney Todd is a twentieth century classic that’s fascinatingly mysterious and distinctively dark. So when Leeds Youth Opera set about making their own production, we had a great opportunity to support their work with a uniquely bloody range of promotional posters, programmes and brochures.

Working with art collective NousVous, we produced a range of mysterious illustrations and headlines inspired by this blood-spattered tale. These were scattered across the programme and a loose-leaf promotional brochure that was based on the opera’s main characters. We also produced a double-sided poster that rolled up into a barber’s poll.
